Do you know if there will be a fix for this? However, thanks to this first fix, its sorted in seconds. Also changed the setting to install updates when I tell it to. I understand the importance of updates, but don't want to try now. Give it a right-click. I thought this might be RAM but I successfully ran MemTest.

ben g hi this also happens with some dell laptops because i have had this problem iv read it could be a certain proccesor that this is linked to im running I will upgrade my PSU to 1050watt and see from there. Let me know if you still have problems after that.

After upgrading to the nvidia gtx 680 this problem went away never to return (have used it close to a month).

On monday, my HP Dv 4 did its automatic update and then shut down. 6 hours later, I turned it on, it started up normally, I logged in, and then 2 Re: Blue screen while trying to install flash player! My problem was on a 2 week old Dell Studio 1555. Loosing time on it since yesterday… now fixed!
