Reply Yegane November 20, 2015 at 8:17 pm hi, my hard drive is a sony usb 3-500gb external hard drive, when i plug this on my computer,both ports of usb 3 If Windows Asks You to Format the Partition When You Insert It If Windows can see the drive but can't read it, it's possible the drive was formatted with a file It looks totally like mine. Disk manager doesn't help. If the drive does work on other computers — or you don’t have another computer around to test this with — Windows may be having a driver problem with the drive.
