I was helped with a problem by using the link supplied by SKYSTAR on Dec.12 after hours of searching and downloading through the laptop makers guides and the NVIDIA site. - If you don't find your graphics driver in Programs and Features, it probably isn't installed.
- The standard VGA driver worked fine for my, till I noticed that it cannot be used when you want to use an external monitor or projector.

Since it's a pci-e 1.0, from what i can see googling it. Nvidia Card Not Detected The new card is pci-e 2.0, so the mobo may need some update to work. If the card is not completely recognized by the motherboard, then it's probably in the bios, just not displaying it when you see the black screen with the blinking cursor.

I have the Nvidia chipset. NVIDIA and AMD graphics driver packages can usually be extracted to a folder and you can browse those folders for the driver inf file. Uninstalling it and reinstall nvidia driver it work for me... We won't know until you can get into BIOS and poke around and figure out the settings for configuring your motherboard to work with the 8400 video card.
