In most cases, that's all you need, since all the things System Restore protects tend to be located on the system drive anyway. I went to the System Restore and chose "restore system files and settings from a restore point". I tried typing the instruction you gave me in your first response, but I couldn't right click anywhere to "run as administrator" and it wouldn't let me proceed??

By running the restore in safe mode that should automaticly turn the anti virus off .
