All Of A Sudden Mouse Pointer Gets Stuck Off Screen.
I rebooted the computer as the mouse was frozen as from then. This will bring up Device Manager, from here, click on the + symbol next to Mice and other pointing devices. My main monitor is now the 4k and is 28" and my other two are 24" monitors. Test this by placing your pointer in the middle of the screen and then move horizontally to the other monitor. But barely registers left and right. Give that a go, worked for me. If you’re unable to see the red light, then it means the mouse could be damaged; to verify that the fault is due to the mouse and not your USB/PS2 port, If that was the problem, it will be cured. For every process I deleted I studied th mousepointer and wow its stopped!
It's now working the way it has for years. Wow, thank you so much man! It moves up and down just fine. McAfee Virus scan did warn me last week of a trojan while I was on the web.
Hijackthis logs (did some major cleaning to that) 7. I to have had this problem many times and i have discovered it only happens to me with a PS2 mouse. So much good information in this thread for different possibilities. Or the area that it sits on?
