My computer is fully up to date with updates from microsoft and there are no registry flaws at all. Your first note said that you had 8Gb. I ran the windows memory diagnostic and it did indeed find some errors (when testing all four sticks together). This is my first rig which i have had for almost a year now and i decided to get more ram (same model).
This may cause a problem for your CPU but I'd doubt it (though going down to 1.40V may not work).
