The step by step guide worked great. My only remaining issue is that WMP is constantly losing/forgetting album art. This saved a bunch of time for me since it only had to alter the few problematic songs instead of my entire (large) library I also had to do this for You need all of your files to be available for editing 2. check over here

- Everything the same, except the OS.
- Click the security tab 4.

Click properties 3. Then scroll down and there should be a "person" marked WMPNetworkSvc, and change the permissions to full control. I would prefer it not screw up new music and rips coming in... October 17, 2010 Alex I recently have had alot of problems with my pc in the regards of windows media player. i had the same issue and have it fixed by selecting the songs (in iTunes) that you are having the issue with, and right-click and Convert IDTAG-3.
